Photography has been an interperpective round-about way for me to connect deeper, more thoughfully with life. Photography came to me in my early days of meditation. I didn’t see it then but looking back, I believe photography and martial arts saved my life.

In this blog there are images of the aftermath from hurricane Helene that devastated North Carolina in September 2024.
I have grown to love traveling and the opportunity of being a part of people’s stories to give myself a broader more worldly perspective of experiences. Taking portraits, making friends, and discovering the land has been a blessing and more of an education that I never would have recieved in school.
Affording travel is never easy, working along the way. The first trip I took created a hunger for more adventurous travel. I continue to be an enlightened about all worldly things that come from experiencing people and places I otherwise wouldn’t be privileged to learn.
