Hello, My name is Michael and I have always been a bit lost. I was introduced to photography professionally in 2000 by my good friend and artist, Marc Wavra @marcwavra. A guru named Jim Brockman began training me properly with analog lighting and cameras. Ever since photography has been a way for me to connect to people and locations.

The 1st book available for purchase soon.

In this blog there are images of the aftermath from hurricane Helene that devastated North Carolina in September 2024.

I have grown to love traveling and the opportunity of being a part of people’s stories to give myself a broader worldly perspective and experiences. Taking their portraits, making friends, and discovering the land has been a blessing.
Affording travel is never easy for me, I have to work along the way. The first trip I took created a hunger for more adventures. Travel continues to be an enlightening education about all worldly things that come from experiencing people and places I otherwise wouldn’t be privileged to consider. I come from a creative and artistic family with photographers, painters, sketch artists, and builders. I owe all the opportunities to my friends and family. They are the ones that allow me this life to adventure in.
The photographs I share I hope show you a new way of understanding or to provide an inspiration to do something great for yourself. If you would like to see or learn more about my most recent projects, reach out by email, phone, or whatever social platform you find me on.
To support my work, you may purchase images as fine art displays, schedule a portrait session, or request photography service.
