No cure

*Photographing people is a way for me to see in other people that it is ok to feel. What ever that feeling is , happy, sad, irritated,
angry, in a hurry, at peace, full of love, shining, or in the darkness. Portraits capture those feelings.

*While walking yesterday and taking these images I came to the conclusion:

the purpose and meaning I enjoy capturing and revealing in other people’s faces in order to build relativeness in us, will never make my pain go away.
My eagerness of drowning in my own pitiful thoughts never seems to disappear.

In my experience the true feeling even shows when you try and cover it up, for exapmle, with fake smiles. Or even the oposite in acting like you don’t want the attention but
accidently convineinly put yourself in way of the lens, I currently know someone like this

If I get a portrait or not,
meeting new people and seeing that life is generally the same for all of us makes things nicer inside my head.

The metaphor from camera to person are eerie representative of each other.

Meeting people on the pathway of life gives an array of perspective if you stop and listen. If you take the time to put yourself in their shoes you can learn something. By photographing people and learning about their stories, I aim to share and shine a light on cultures and purpose to help others find meaning and motivation to live a positive life.
