I can’t imagine feeling of being forced out of your country because of this incredible level of political corruption.
The spirit of these people is absolutely incredible. The smiles the kindness and willingness to take on this hard time head on is a strength that internal dedication lit by desire to live carries on.
In Necocli, Venezuelans are coming by the bus load. Hundreds everyday looking for passage by boat to Capurgana, Colombia. From there they they walk for six days to and through the Darien Gap in Panama. Most of this journey is likely guided by guerrilla groups charging fees for passage to and beyond Panama. The travel for these people to the United States has just begun.

In my opinion all of the people heading to the United State are walking into a trap. A trap that has the potential to crush not just the Venezuelans and the rest of the immigrants from Haiti, Cuba, others from Central, South America, Mexicans, and Africans as well, but also the average working class Americans. You tell me. What is happening at this grand scale that none of the average working class in any of these places can manage the rise of inflation and the political pressures, raise in crime, and lack of decent paying work to compensate in order to provide basic necessities for their families?

Some travels are successful. Some people stay in Colombia to make money before making the journey.

The one thing that lays heavy on my heart is how these bright people stay incredibly positive while battling the daily struggles without hardly any resources. Strong Spirits.
