A few weeks ago, I received an email that I have lost the money I had saved. Seven years of running my gardening business I managed to put aside some money for my living expense while reestablishing my photography business.
A year and a half ago I decided to move most of my saving to a high yield crypto savings account earning 8.5 percent interest with a company named BlockFi. “In July, FTX had signed a deal with BlockFi to provide it with a $400 million revolving credit facility with an option to buy it for up to $240 million.” Two weeks after I learned about the deal FTX went bankrupt. “BlockFi announced its bankruptcy filing on November 28, 2022, less than three weeks after the FTX collapse.” Since, I have been blocked out of accessing my savings.
Colombia is a hidden gem. I never thought of coming here. I don’t want to leave before I have a chance to document a lot more of this country. Colombia is such a great symbol for some many good and bad conversations that have potential for influence to the world. Maybe I’m ignorant to the past that makes me curious. But stories here involving the United State go so deep they can magnify and make examples of many current global issues. Colombia is very interesting and beautiful place.

All the money I had planned to start a new business with, make investments, and start the beginning of my new future. At least this keeps everything exciting. Much more adventurous than what I was doing already.🙄
How does fraud happen at this scale with FTX happen? So many big players were involved, the Bidens, the Clintons, Ukraine, and so many famous people from the US. Whoever (JP Morgan?) let Alameda trade at that scale without being insured, without being audited for years on end? How is every article being wrote on the topic from mainstream publications detailess pages of fluff without anyone to blame. Sam has plead not guilty. Sam is a puppet being the biggest doner to political election. There is a much bigger story that is conveniently being covered up at the same time of a falling dollar and a replacement with a government regulated digital currency. How the hell did he get out of jail with only a promise from his backers to pay his $250 million dollar bail?
With that said, I am looking for applicable ideas to apply my photography work in a way I can rebound my loss and move forward. Obviously, there are lots of ideas online where people are making a living but I would like some direct input from you.
